Research and Communications Internship

Internship Overview:
As a follow-up to the Garrison Institute's recent symposium, Pathways to Planetary Health:
Half-Earth, Ecological Civilization, Regenerative Economics, and Pervasive Altruism, the Institute will be serving as a hub for various networks to advance the ideas and vision shared during the symposium, with a focus on our area of expertise, pervasive altruism.
The intern will be involved in collecting, curating, and organizing content from the symposium's main presenters, finding relevant, related material and support the development and creation of an online resource and its promotion on social media.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but may not be limited to:
Review video content of symposium and support the production of a video summary Gather and curate content (bibliographies, blog posts, videos, etc.
) from key speakers Conduct interviews with key presenters that will be published on the Institute's blog Research on initiatives in the field that reflect the integrative vision of the symposium Research to develop a cognitive/ neurological/ social/ cultural/ spiritual theory of pervasive altruism, and how it might be propagated.
Follow-up with symposium speakers to document the impact of the symposium
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a graduate degree with a focus on Ecology, Environmental policy, New Economics, Religion, or Compassion studies.
Experience conducting research with strong attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience in effective social media promotion Very task-oriented, independent self-starter About the Garrison Institute:

Compensation and How to Apply:
